Misael Gomez (President)

In July 2002, with over 20 years of extensive experience in the electrical contracting industry, Misael Gomez founded M&M; Electric of Central Florida, Inc. As President and Founder of M&M; Electric, Mr. Gomez leads the company's overall strategic direction.

Mr. Gomez carries an un-limited Electrical Contractors license and is a Master Electrician. Having the knowledge and expertise in load calculations Mr. Gomez can do design build projects. Misael is a goal-oriented team leader with diverse experience and a proven ability to solve mission critical problems through business process analysis and the application of innovative technologies.

Misael is very much a hands-on leader who is involved with the day-to-day contact with the field employees to better expedite the projects and make sure that the clients get the best job they possibly can.

Mr. Gomez is OSHA certified. He has also been trained and certified by GOAA in Arc-fault protection and racking of breakers.

Maurilio Gonzalez (Project Manager)

Mr. Gonzalez started in the electrical field over 19 years ago and currently carries a Journeyman License. Mr. Gonzalez started his career in 1999, working in the electrical construction trade for a small electrical contracting firm. He continued working in the industry developing his skills, while taking great pride in finishing all that he started.

As a Project Manager Maurilio is still willing and able to “jump” in there and help get the job done to meet deadlines. Maurilio's day-to-day duties are to see that all projects are properly manned and that each project has the required materials on site. His knowledge in managing projects as well as employees helps him to see that projects are completed within the budget time and money.

Mr. Gonzalez is currently managing the GOAA 11-15 Electrical and Re-lamping Services Contract. Mr. Gonzalez IS OSHA certified. He has also been trained and certified by GOAA in Arc-fault protection and racking of breakers.

Jess Smylie (Senior Estimator and Project Manager)

Mr. Smylie have the knowledge and expertise in electrical theory, design build, motor controls, load calculations, estimating and project management. Mr. Smylie has over 20 years of experience in large commercial and industrial electrical construction.

As the Senior Estimator and Project Manager Mr. Smylie’s responsibilities are to oversee the completion of all estimates, change orders, proposals, submittals, and design builds. Mr. Smylie will also assist with project management of specific projects. oversee that project’s meet budget, schedule and specifications.

Mr. Smylie is Osha Certified, Arc Fault protection Certified, Plus heavy equipment certified.

Rodner Pineda (Project Manager)

Mr. Pineda has worked in the electrical industry for over 19 years, serving in various capacities ranging from Consulting Engineer in his native Venezuela, Estimator, Construction Manager, and Project Manager. He started his career as an Electrical Designer or Draftsman. Rodner worked diligently and learned as much as he could in his early years, he used the knowledge and experience gained to advance employability and career.

Mr. Pineda day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing the project team functions on the job sites, as well as ensuring the proper coordination exists between the office and field so that M&M; Electric can successfully complete its contractual obligations. Rodner also assists with estimating and bidding projects as well as coordinating and working with subcontractors.

Fabian Ferrer (Superintendent)

Mr. Ferrer carries a Journeyman License with 20 plus years of experience. Fabian started in the electrical field as a house wireman. He continued working in the industry developing his skills. Mr. Ferrer is adept in performing electrical installations, maintenance and repairs in commercial and plant facilities.

Mr. Ferrer is knowledgeable in all areas of the national electrical code and excels in analyzing and solving problems with various electrical controls and systems. During his tenure Fabian has worked on various projects within the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. Relocation of the AS02 Southwest Airlines ticket counter, the American Airlines ticket counter relocation. Renovations of the AS01 & AS02 Duty Free stores. Installation of new fans in the A & B baggage claims, installation of Custom Border Patrol kiosks AS01 & AS04 the Southwest Airlines Headquarters facility as well as many others over the past five years.

Mr. Ferrer has been trained and certified by GOAA in Arc-fault protection and racking of breakers. He is also OSHA certified.

Betty Gomez (CFO/VP)

Betty Gomez has more than 13 years of experience in all Financial, Accounting, Auditing and Human Resource aspects, with 6 years in the electrical construction trade. Betty’s is responsible for Accounting, Subcontractors, Contracts and Human Resources.

Ms. Gomez day-to-day duties include office administration, assisting estimators in bidding projects, routing service call, monthly billing, collections, employee relations and monthly reports to the President. Ms. Gomez is also experienced in preparing certified payrolls and securing certifications from municipal and government agencies.

George Urquiola (Business Development)

George brings more than 25 years of construction and supply chain industry experience. Upon completing his Master of Business Administration, George moved straight into upper management gaining hands on experience within the construction industry and has acquired a considerable amount of knowledge working in various management roles including business development and project management. George became part of the M&M; Electric team in 2015 working in Business Development as well as Project Management.

George brings a strong focus on customer service and implementing strong business systems to ensure each project he undertakes is handled with a high level of service from start to completion. His dedication to every project he undertakes is testament to this. Working with prospective clients to ensure he has a clear understanding of their expectations allows for a high level of service throughout each project.

George is directly responsible for driving the efficiency and productivity through the business and is the link between keeping the team well bonded and ensuring full accountability. He works directly with the clients and technicians, to provide success in the delivery of each project and service request.

George is a real team player with a focus on the big picture. His high-level ability to problem solve see complex projects completed on time with ease.
